Web Orders: Please be aware when placing orders from our website: 1. Air Shipping Notice! Please be aware that all books are shipped out of the bookstore at Shasta College and selecting next day or second day air shipping when you live in the immediate area can actually delay your shipment's arrival. Please also be aware that all shipments leave the bookstore the next available working day pickup from FEDEX AFTER your order is processed. Due to the fact that we are closed depending on the time that you place your order this may mean a delay in shipping of as much as 72 hours even if you select next day air shipping. 2. Extended Education Sites! please be aware that if you are ordering from an extended education site such as Burney, Weaverville, or Red Bluff, it may take up to 3 - 5 business days for your text to reach the site. The site office will notify you when your book is ready for pick up. 3. Prices are subject to change. 4. At the end of the ordering process, it is best to select 'Substitute' under 'Textbook Substitution Preference.' This will prevent any delay in receiving your books. For example, if you prefer a used book, we will first try to find a used copy for you. If used is not available, we will send you a new one. If you select 'Don't Substitute' we will have to contact you for permission to sub if your preference is not available, which may cause a delay in processing your order. 5. The bookstore is CLOSED on Saturday & Sunday, so any online order placed over the weekend will not be seen or processed until Monday morning. 6. Your credit card will NEVER be billed until the books are physically taken from our shelves and rung up at the cash register. 7. Thank you for you order!
